HOW TO QUIT DRINKING

WHAT IS ALCOHALISM?
It is a chronic disorder in which a person is unable to refrain from frequent and excessive consumption of alcohol
for physical or psychological reasons. 
As per the world health organization "Alcoholism is one of the three most deadly killer diseases of 20th century "
It has become a major social problem and a big reason of frequent traffic accidents. It's one of the basic causes of poverty as it sucks the economic sources. 
Alcohol cantains ethyle alcohol which depresses the brain and central nervous system. If you feel relaxed after drinking it is actually death of brain cells. Man doesn't consume alcohol, but in real sense alcohol consumes man.
After enetring the body through alimentary canal.It gets quickly absorbed in blood stream and reaches to each and every part of body.  
WHY YOU DRINK?
Personal reasons 
I..You try to escape tough situations in life.
II..You try to get rid of stress.
III..You want peace. 
(Unfortunately you never get these reasons. fulfilled)
Social Reasons
I..To please someone. 
II..To show that you are upto date person. 
III..To show you are a high profile personality.
(Are these reasons more important then you-absulutly not)
Why MUST YOU QUIT DRINKING? 
1.Drinking gives you puffy face with blood shot eyes.Thus effects your beauty and outlook.
2.Eyes are mostly effected by alcohol and there is high risk of blindness in all those who drink heavily. 
3.It makes you over emotional ,thus you loose control of situation which effects your social and personal life.
4.Alcohol impairs your quality of judgment so there is high of loss in life.
5..Alcohol disturbs sleep which inturn effects physical and psychological health badly.
6..It leads to vitamin deficiency and therefore weakens your resistance to common ailments. 
7..Drinking weakens your memory and lowers your job performance and productivity. 
8..Alcohol is basic cause of Cirrhosis of liver.Liver (chemical industry of body) is disturbed which in turn effects whole body.
9..Stomach and bowels get disturbed which weakens the body. Its major reason for over weight.
10..Those who are addicted to alcohal have high risk of heart attack.
11..It effects those whom you love.
HOW TO QUIT DRINKING?
There are some practical tips . Follow them and get rid of alcohol.
1..Sip slowly. 
2..Space your drinks.
3..Dilute your alcohol.
4..Reduce the amount in every drink.
5..Never conceal the amount of alcohol you drink. 
6..Don't drink on empty stomach. 
7..Never drink at times of stress and strain.
8..Avoid social gatherings and parties where drinking is must.
Say "big no" if you are offered. 
9..Never keep it within reach. Keep it under lock and key.
10..Get yourself busy when you feel urge to drink and develop new activities of interest. 
11..Never ever drink in morning. 
12..Commit to stop all at once not by gradually. 
13..Keep a written record of drinking and analyse it on last day of every month.
14..Clean your bedroom,reading room,office room (the place where you spend most of your time) from all things that trigger the urge to drink. 
15..Keep healthy reasons of not drinking in front of you always.
16..Make your intention known publically.
17..Reward yourself with something when you make the progress. 
18..Enjoy the benefits and celebrate them.
19..Resist the short term problems. 
20..Quit for sake of those whom you love.
